Does it ever seem like everyone is doing the exact same thing? Maybe everyone at your job is miserable, constantly discussing the negativity and ill-advised changes by upper management. Or your social media timeline is full of engagements, weddings, or babies. This is usually around the point when a family member or friend asks, “Why aren’t you doing (fill in the blank) too?” You’ve found this blog and are reading this post, so I’ll assume that you are in tuned with your individuality. But sometimes it can be tough road to go when everyone seems to be doing the same things or desperately trying to do what most people are doing.
When working with clients who are in touch with themselves, the answer is simple. They want to create a life they LOVE! This means they are fully enjoying what’s going on in their world and excited about the opportunities coming their way. It involves reaching their full potential to create success in different areas. How would your life be different if you loved going into the office every morning? What if you loved that alone time you had all by yourself? Here are 3 areas to master to create success and LOVE your life.
Personal Development- When was the last time you took an honest look at yourself? What are your habits? How do you treat people? It’s important to consider how you are showing up to the world. A lot of people say they want certain things, but haven’t prepared themselves to be in a position to receive what they desire. Wise people know that there is always room for self-improvement, from learning something new to changing a habit that isn’t helping you succeed.
Career- Are you doing something that lights you up inside? Is your current position putting you in a place to advance to the next level? Since most people spend a quarter or more of their time working every week, this is important to consider in order to create a life you LOVE. If you want help, work with a coach on a plan to get a promotion, find a new job, or start your own business. People who are happy at work tend to be more fulfilled in their relationships and life.
Money- Some people are uncomfortable or avoid discussing money. But let’s get real, how easy is it to relax and have fun when you don’t know how you’re going to pay your bills? Money is a tool that can help you create success by having the freedom to pursue the things you want and remove yourself from experiences that are draining you. Odds are you won’t feel like you have to stay stuck in a dead end job, if you have enough savings. Traveling, taking a vacation or a day off of work can help you stay connected to the things you enjoy.
I often talk to people who know there is “something more” to life other than the everyday routine of work and sleep. They also know there is something deeper than comparing yourself to others on social media. It is possible to authentically love this life you are living. How will you create a life you LOVE?
